About the Senior Backend Software Engineer (NodeJS) Role

WIN Home Inspection is seeking passionate Backend Software Engineers with expertise in NodeJS to join our expanding team. You will contribute to building groundbreaking software products and applications, working within a multidisciplinary team on state-of-the-art web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications, microservices, integrations, and reusable components.
• Develop applications, web services, and cloud-native apps utilizing NodeJS, Javascript, REST API, and related technologies.
• Collaborate in an agile environment with product owners, frontend and backend engineers, UX/UI designers, and QA teams.
• Optimize application performance and maintain high code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
• Actively participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Identify and implement technical solutions to enhance user experience and backend efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 4-7 years of experience in backend development, specifically with NodeJS, Javascript, PostgreSQL, REST API, and AWS.
• Proven experience with cloud/serverless architecture, development toolsets, integration and deployment tools, and automated testing.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment requiring innovation and rapid execution.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex issues and propose clear, effective solutions.
• A creative and strategic mindset with the capacity for out-of-the-box thinking.
