Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our team at Target PEAK in Bhayandar, Mumbai, Maharashtra. This is a permanent, in-person role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust backend systems using Node.js.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs with frameworks like Express.js or NestJS.
• Manage and optimize relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Implement caching strategies using Redis.
• Design and architect scalable microservices and event-driven systems.
• Integrate with message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Ensure API security through JWT/OAuth, data validation, and protection against common vulnerabilities.
• Work with cloud platforms, specifically AWS services like EC2, S3, and RDS.
• Utilize Docker for containerization.
• Understand and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate on system design and architectural decisions.

Requirements:

• 7 years of required experience in Node.js, Express.js, and Nest.js.
• Strong experience with React.js, Hooks, Context API/Redux, component-based architecture, and state management.
• Proficiency in system design and architecture, including microservices and event-driven systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and DevOps tools (Docker).
• Knowledge of security best practices, including JWT/OAuth and data validation.

Note: Candidates local to Mumbai are strongly preferred.
