Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly talented Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team.

Role Overview

The role is fully remote, offering flexible working hours. As a core member of the team, you will own backend systems end-to-end—from architecture through deployment—and help define Aries' technical foundation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Architect and implement robust backend services using Go (Golang).
• Design scalable APIs, data models, and distributed systems capable of handling mission-critical trading workloads.
• Ensure high performance, resilience, and fault tolerance in production environments on cloud platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and infrastructure teams to deliver features from concept to launch.
• Contribute to systems architecture within a modern cloud-native environment using Docker/Kubernetes.

About the Products

You will build core products including Aries.com (the first open-source brokerage for active traders) and Finance.dev (developer infrastructure).

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Go.
• Experience designing scalable backend services, APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and messaging systems.
• A track record of writing clean, maintainable code with comprehensive tests.
• Ability to lead technical discussions on system architecture.

• Interest in fintech or financial infrastructure.
