About the Role
Join Horizon3.ai as a Senior Back End Engineer on our Platform Integration team. This high-impact role is critical for building scalable systems behind our product that helps security teams prioritize and fix real risks in their environments.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop core features using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support data processing and retrieval.
- Design backend APIs leveraging GraphQL to facilitate seamless interactions between different components of the platform.
- Maintain production code standards for quality design and operational rigor.
- Collaborate with frontend teams to deliver clear, user-friendly data presentations that enhance product experience.
Your Qualifications
Bring 7+ years of professional software engineering experience in modern object-oriented or functional languages (Python, Java, Go, TypeScript). You must demonstrate a strong desire to learn and thrive in an Agile environment. Expert proficiency in SQL is required, along with experience building GraphQL backends.
What Sets You Apart
- Skill in integrating various database architectures including relational (PostgreSQL) and graph databases like Neo4j.
- Experience working on API platforms or headless customer experiences to build speed for new integrations.
