Infosys is seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure AI Engineer to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This permanent position offers a fantastic opportunity to leverage your expertise in Azure AI services to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions.

As a Senior Azure AI Engineer, you will be instrumental in:

• Designing, developing, and integrating advanced AI solutions utilizing a suite of Azure AI services, including Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, and Azure OpenAI Service, ensuring alignment with critical business objectives.
• Building and iteratively refining AI prototypes and complex workflows using Azure AI Studio, continuously improving solution quality through rigorous experimentation and evaluation.
• Implementing comprehensive, end-to-end AI pipelines that encompass data preparation, intelligent model/service selection, sophisticated prompt/workflow design, and seamless deployment to Azure environments.
• Collaborating effectively with diverse cross-functional teams to clearly define innovative use cases, establish measurable success metrics, and finalize acceptance criteria for new AI features.
• Ensuring all developed AI solutions rigorously meet stringent performance, scalability, security, and compliance expectations within cloud deployment contexts.
• Actively monitoring and expertly troubleshooting AI solutions deployed in production environments, driving a culture of continuous improvement through feedback loops and iterative release cycles.
• Producing detailed documentation for architectures, workflows, and operational runbooks to facilitate maintainability and robust knowledge sharing across the team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree (B.Tech or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience delivering robust software or cloud solutions, with demonstrable exposure to Azure AI services.
• Proven working experience with Azure AI Studio for the development, testing, and refinement of AI solutions and workflows.
• A strong foundational understanding of cloud computing principles, effective API integration patterns, and established production-grade engineering practices.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and a proven capacity to thrive in a collaborative team setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in designing comprehensive solution architectures for demanding AI workloads on Azure, including best practices for environment setup, deployment strategies, and operational considerations.
• Familiarity with the principles and implementation of responsible AI practices, such as ensuring safety, privacy, mitigating bias, and applying governance controls within enterprise environments.
• Experience with various evaluation approaches for AI solutions, focusing on quality, latency, and cost optimization, and the ability to drive iterative improvements based on measurable outcomes.
• Exposure to Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automation techniques for the efficient deployment and ongoing maintenance of AI solutions in Azure.
• A demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous problem statements into actionable, implementable AI workflows and deliver incremental value in close partnership with stakeholders.
