Senior Associate Software Engineer

As a Senior Associate Front-End Engineer based in Pune, India, you will be instrumental in developing compelling game experiences for our SG products. You will implement, debug, and modify in-game features, as well as development and operational tools, actively contributing to game design. This role requires independent technical operation, strong communication, and collaboration skills to thrive as a valued team player. Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain client-side code for desktop and mobile games efficiently.
• Develop client/server-based applications utilizing technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Contribute to the creation of new, innovative games and features.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 1-2 years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including an understanding of its nuances and workarounds.
• Experience with data structures (in JavaScript or any programming language).
• Basic knowledge of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with development tools such as IDEs, debuggers, and bug tracking systems.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like Git, CVS, or SVN.
• Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and languages.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks (e.g., AngularJS, jQuery, NodeJS).
• Hands-on experience with other programming languages like Java, C++, or Python.
• Familiarity with front-end build tools such as Grunt.
• Experience in distributed application (client/server) development.
• Game development experience.
• Experience in UI development and animations.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
