Senior Associate

Join the Macquarie Funds team, dedicated to supporting the Macquarie Asset Management business globally by delivering robust reporting solutions to clients. We leverage the Vermilion reporting platform to provide clients with accurate, flexible, automated, and scalable reporting services. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, engineers, subject matter experts, and various support teams. A primary focus will be on driving scalability and ensuring continuous delivery of business value.

Your Role:

This position involves a wide range of responsibilities across both public and private markets businesses. You will adopt a cloud-first strategy, staying current with emerging technologies. Demonstrating strong ownership, you will design, develop, and maintain our solutions. Furthermore, you will engage with international colleagues to deliver solutions that support business operations across all regions.

What You Bring:

• 2-4 years of professional experience.
• Proficient engineering skills with demonstrated expertise in Python and AWS Services for building data pipelines and microservices.
• Solid understanding of SQL, relational databases, and data lake/data warehouse concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD, containers, Apache Airflow, relational and NoSQL databases, monitoring, observability, and secrets management.
• Front-end development skills in React.js or similar technologies are highly advantageous.
• Experience with Kubernetes, GitOps/ArgoCD, Java, and JavaScript is highly regarded.
• Proven ability to design and implement solutions, incorporate stakeholder feedback, build for reusability, and clearly document and explain solutions.
• Capability to troubleshoot and provide support to business stakeholders within a DevOps framework.
• Understanding of Secure by Design principles, design patterns, and various testing methodologies.
