Senior Associate

EY is seeking a Senior Associate for its Government & Public Sector (GPS) team in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This role is within the Strategy and Transactions (SaT) - Tax and Commercial Finance (TCF) - Lead Advisory - Project Finance practice.

The Government and Public Sector Transactions Services (SaT) is a specialized unit within EY's Government & Public Sector (GPS) Services, dedicated to supporting government and public sector organizations. We combine private sector best practices with an understanding of public sector needs to improve public services. This practice sits under EY's Transaction Advisory Services, a market-leading team working across various industries, including Transport, Social & Health care, Education, Urban & Infrastructure, Economic Development Advisory, Water Waste & Sanitation, Power & Utilities, and Public Finance & Management.

The Strategy and Transactions (SaT) practice enables clients to reimagine ecosystems, reshape portfolios, and reinvent for a better future. Using our Capital Agenda framework, we address strategic, financial, operational, and commercial challenges for corporates, private equity, governments, sovereign wealth funds, and educational institutions. We assist with portfolio reviews, capital allocation, financial planning, and analytics to optimize capital allocation and manage risk/return trade-offs.

Our key focus areas include Investment Banking Advisory, Valuations, Modeling and Economics, Transaction Diligence, Restructuring and Turnaround Services, Project Finance and Infrastructure, EY Parthenon - Strategy, and EY Parthenon - Execution.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Technical Excellence: Demonstrating deep knowledge in Project Management and Procurement; managing RFPs; understanding transaction structures and advising on structuring issues.

Skills and attributes:

• Qualification: Postgraduate degree from a Tier 1 Institute with a focus on leading consulting project delivery in a professional services environment.
• Experience: 7+ years of relevant post-qualification experience.
