Senior Associate

Join Macquarie Group in Gurugram, India, as a Senior Associate - Java Developer. In this permanent role, you will contribute to our dynamic and collaborative Data and Digital Engineering team, supporting equities post-trade platforms. As an experienced Java Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain software applications, taking full project ownership from development to production. You will collaborate with front office, back office, and technology teams, implement platform enhancements, and provide expert support for complex issues. We seek individuals with 2-4 years of Java development experience, including frameworks like Spring Boot and Hibernate, strong knowledge of Data Structures, OOP, and RDBMS (Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, PostgreSQL). Experience with CI/CD, automation, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is essential. Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular is a plus. Prior experience in financial services is advantageous.
