Senior Associate

Join EY's Global Delivery Services (GDS) Benchmarking Team as a Senior Associate in Gurgaon, India. You will be instrumental in supporting pursuits and engagements by delivering end-to-end process benchmarking. This role requires developing expertise in business processes such as Supply Chain, IT, Finance, Legal, Shared Services, and Cyber Security.

You will collaborate with practitioners to understand project objectives, identify key metrics for clients, and assist with data collection, validation, and benchmarking analysis to pinpoint areas for improvement. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of sector and process-specific benchmarking content and foster a network with global colleagues within the Benchmarking team and client-facing teams.

Job Responsibilities:

Deliver Client Services:

• Support client engagement teams with benchmarking requests, providing analysis and insights across Finance, Supply Chain, IT, HR, Legal, and Cyber Security processes.
• Execute end-to-end benchmarking, including data collection, validation, and comparing client data against benchmarks to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with the global benchmarking team to ensure the successful achievement of program and project objectives.

Relationship Management:

• Assist in maintaining and strengthening relationships with key executives.
• Work closely with team leads to promote awareness of the global benchmarking service offering among various service line stakeholders.

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

• Manage content and data while ensuring compliance with firm policies, including data privacy, quality, and risk management (Q&RM), and independence.
• Calculate quartiles and perform ad-hoc queries on databases containing third-party and EY client responses.
• Support the development of benchmarking deliverables by integrating insights from content specialists, the analytics team, and client teams.
• Participate in quality reviews to ensure the delivery of high-quality client outcomes.
• Enhance proprietary datasets through client data collection, evaluation, and purchase of third-party data.
• Contribute to internal initiatives aimed at improving benchmarking efficiency and effectiveness, as well as supporting internal team initiatives.

• Proven analytical, insight generation, data aggregation, and Excel capabilities.

Education:

• MBA or related Master's degree preferred.

Other Requirements (Preferred):

• Familiarity with data sources such as APQC, CapIQ, Avansant Computer Economics, LESG, SSON, and others.
• Knowledge of tools and platforms including Qualtrics, analytics toolsets like Low Code/No Code tools (PowerApps, Power Automate, PowerBI), and Excel/Access spreadsheets and databases.

Basic Qualifications:

• Approximately 1 to 3 years of professional experience.
• Experience in core benchmarking and analytics is preferred.
