Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Back-End Developer with 3–5 years of experience to build and maintain scalable, high-performance server-side applications. The ideal candidate should have strong coding skills, a solid understanding of APIs and databases, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable backend services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs
• Build scalable and secure RESTful / microservices-based architectures
• Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, and product teams to deliver features end-to-end
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Develop and manage database schemas, queries, and integrations
• Implement authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Leverage and adopt AI-assisted development tools and practices to improve productivity and code quality

Must-Have Skills

Programming & Frameworks: Strong proficiency in at least one backend language including Java (Spring Boot), Node.js, Python (Django, Flask), or .NET Core. Experience building RESTful APIs is essential.

Databases: Hands-on experience with relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL, as well as NoSQL solutions such as MongoDB and Redis. Strong knowledge of data modeling and query optimization required.

Core Backend Concepts: Understanding of microservices architecture, API security (OAuth, JWT), asynchronous processing systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ, and caching strategies.

DevOps & Tools: Experience with version control systems such as Git. Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and familiarity with containerization using Docker.

Good to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Exposure to GraphQL APIs
• Understanding of event-driven architecture
• Knowledge of performance monitoring tools like New Relic or Prometheus
• Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD)

Education
