Senior Application Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Application Engineer with expertise in Java to join our team in Mumbai. In this role, you will utilize your hands-on experience in developing microservices-based enterprise applications using Java. You will be instrumental in building robust applications, collaborating closely with front-end developers, and upholding high-quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain microservices-based enterprise applications using Java.
• Implement core Java concepts such as Collections, Strings, Annotations, and Interfaces.
• Effectively utilize frameworks including Servlet, Spring JPA, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot for application development.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate HTML/CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, and jQuery into application projects.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues across Java versions 1.8 and above.
• Manage version control and code repository practices using tools like Git and SVN.
• Actively participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodology processes.
• Communicate effectively within the team and contribute positively as a team player.

Who We Are Looking For:

• We seek individuals with a passion for innovation, a can-do attitude, and a drive to learn and grow.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in application development.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Technology (B-Tech), or Master of Technology (M-Tech).
• Hands-on experience with microservices-based application development using Java.
• Proficiency in core Java concepts including Collections, Strings, Annotations, and Interfaces.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, and jQuery.
• Experience with frameworks like Spring MVC, Spring JPA, and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git and SVN.
• A good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodology.
• Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude.
