Senior App Engineer (4+ Years Experience)

We are looking for a hands-on Senior App Engineer with 4–6 years of experience to take technical ownership of our consumer-facing mobile product. In this role, you will drive mobile architecture, elevate engineering standards, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-performance features.

What You'll Do

• Owning Architecture: Manage mobile application architecture and reliability improvements from design through production for wearable devices. Drive technical decisions across BLE/Bluetooth integration, background execution management, offline recovery strategies, audio flows, battery optimization, and platform-specific behavior.
• Leadership & Reviews: Lead complex and high-risk design reviews and code audits to ensure correctness, performance, security, testing coverage, and robust recovery mechanisms. Partner with Product, Backend, and Firmware teams on dependencies, acceptance criteria, integration testing, and rollout plans.
• Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve production issues by identifying root causes and implementing long-term fixes rather than short-term workarounds. Simplify application architecture while making pragmatic technical trade-offs to maintain product quality and delivery speed.
