Position: Senior App Developer / Mobile Architect Lead

Benovymed is seeking a highly experienced Android engineer with strong coding and bug-fixing skills to develop mobile applications from scratch. The ideal candidate will have experience in an early-stage tech startup environment, focusing on the development of highly scalable tech products.

Job Location: Delhi NCR / Gurgaon, India

Responsibilities:

• Develop Android, iOS, and Hybrid mobile applications.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders including Product Owners, Solution Architects, Engineering Heads, UX/UI designers, Fullstack Developers, and Testers to create high-quality products with minimal bugs.
• Integrate with various APIs and data sources.
• Debug and resolve application issues.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance the cross-functional platform.
• Contribute to the development of multifaceted mobile applications, with a specific focus on Android development.

Required Skillsets:

• Proficient in Kotlin and Java, with extensive end-to-end experience.
• Deep understanding of the Android SDK, various Android versions, and adaptive UI for different screen sizes.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting Android applications to backend services.
• Strong knowledge of Android, iOS, Hybrid, and Flutter principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with Android Studio.
• Ability to integrate with and manage third-party application APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs, client engagement strategies, AI chatbots, and push notification features.
• Aptitude for benchmarking and performance optimization.
• Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Familiarity with continuous integration practices.

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 to 10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in an early-stage growing startup, especially in the Digital Health sector.
• Proven experience in developing mobile app products from scratch within an early-stage startup, ideally as part of a founding team.
• Demonstrated ability to single-handedly manage end-to-end mobile app development for highly scalable Android, iOS, Hybrid, or Flutter platforms.

Qualification:

• B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) from a reputable engineering institute.
