About the Role

Benovymed Healthcare is seeking a highly experienced Senior App Developer / Mobile Architect Lead with expertise in Android, iOS, or Hybrid platforms. This is a key role in a global digital health startup, focusing on developing highly scalable tech products from the ground up. We are looking for a passionate engineer with a strong command of coding and bug fixing, ideally with experience in an early-stage tech startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and code Android, iOS, or Hybrid mobile applications.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders including Product Owners, Solution Architects, Engineering Heads, UX/UI Designers, Fullstack Developers, and Testers to build superior products with minimal bugs.
• Integrate with various APIs and data sources.
• Identify and resolve software defects (bug fixing).
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance the cross-functional platform.
• Contribute to the development of multi-functional mobile applications, particularly from an Android developer's perspective.

Required Skillsets

• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with end-to-end development experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the Android SDK, various Android versions, and managing different screen sizes.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting applications to back-end services.
• Strong understanding of Android, iOS, Hybrid, and Flutter principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with Android Studio.
• Ability to integrate with 3rd Party Application APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs, client engagement strategies, AI chatbots, and push notification features.
• Proven ability in performance benchmarking and optimization.
• Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Experience with continuous integration practices.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2-10 years of post-qualification experience in an early-stage growing startup, preferably within the Digital Health sector.
• Demonstrated experience building mobile app products from scratch in an early-stage startup environment, ideally as part of a founding team.
• Experience working as a sole end-to-end developer for mobile app development on highly scalable Android, iOS, Hybrid, or Flutter platforms.

Qualifications

B.Tech in CSE, IT, or ECE from a reputable engineering institute.
