Full Job Description
Benovymed Healthcare is actively seeking an experienced Senior App Developer and Mobile Architect Lead with expertise in both iOS and Android platforms to join our dynamic team in Kolkata.
We are searching for a highly skilled Android engineer with exceptional coding and bug-fixing abilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing mobile applications from inception, ideally within an early-stage tech startup environment, and contributing to the creation of highly scalable tech products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and code Android, iOS, and Hybrid mobile applications.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders including Product Owners, Solution Architects, Engineering Heads, UX/UI Designers, Fullstack Developers, and Testers to deliver high-quality products with minimal defects.
- Integrate with various APIs and data sources.
- Perform bug fixing and debugging.
- Continuously evaluate and explore new technologies to leverage them for cross-functional platform enhancements.
- Contribute as an Android developer within multi-functional mobile applications.
Required Skillsets:
- Proficient in end-to-end development using Kotlin and Java.
- In-depth knowledge of the Android SDK, various Android versions, and strategies for handling diverse screen sizes.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting Android applications to backend services.
- Strong understanding of principles, patterns, and best practices for Android, iOS, Hybrid, and Flutter development.
- Experience with Android Studio.
- Ability to comprehend and integrate with 3rd Party Application APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs, client engagement, AI chatbots, and push notification features.
- A keen ability for performance benchmarking and optimization.
- Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines.
- Familiarity with continuous integration practices.
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 to 10 years of post-qualification experience in an early-stage, growing startup, preferably within the Digital Health sector.
- Must have hands-on experience developing mobile products from scratch in an early-stage startup, ideally as part of a founding team.
- Proven experience in single-handedly managing end-to-end mobile app development from scratch on highly scalable Android, iOS, Hybrid, or Flutter platforms.
Qualifications:
B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) from a reputable engineering institute.
