Senior App Developer / Mobile Architect Lead - iOS/Android Platform

Benovymed Healthcare is seeking a highly experienced Senior App Developer and Mobile Architect Lead to join their global digital health startup. This role is based at their Global HQ, Global Technology Development Center & Global R&D & AI Health Innovation Center in Delhi NCR, India.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Android engineer with a proven track record in coding and bug fixing for mobile app development from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have experience in an early-stage tech startup environment, contributing to the development of highly scalable tech products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop Android, iOS, and Hybrid mobile applications.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Engineering Heads, UX/UI Designers, Fullstack Developers, and Testing teams to build superior products with minimal bugs.
• Integrate with various APIs and data sources.
• Address and fix bugs to ensure application stability.
• Continuously evaluate and explore new technologies to leverage them across the cross-functional platform.
• Contribute to the development of multi-functional mobile applications, particularly in the Android space.

Required Skillsets:

• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java for end-to-end development.
• In-depth knowledge of the Android SDK, various Android versions, and handling different screen sizes.
• Experience with RESTful APIs for connecting Android applications to back-end services.
• Strong understanding of Android, iOS, Hybrid, and Flutter principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Expertise in Android Studio.
• Ability to understand and integrate with third-party application APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs, client engagement strategies, AI chatbots, and push notification features.
• Aptitude for benchmarking and performance optimization.
• Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Experience with continuous integration practices.

Experience:

• A minimum of 2-10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in an early-stage, growing startup within the Digital Health sector.
• Must have prior experience developing mobile app products from scratch within an early-stage startup, ideally as part of a founding team.
• Demonstrated experience working independently on end-to-end mobile app development for highly scalable Android, iOS, Hybrid, or Flutter platforms.

Qualifications:

• B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) from a reputable engineering institute.
