Senior App Developer/Mobile Architect Lead - iOS/Android Platform

Benovymed Healthcare Private Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Senior App Developer/Mobile Architect Lead for its global digital health startup, located in Delhi NCR/Gurgaon, India.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Android engineer with exceptional coding and bug-fixing skills to lead the development of mobile applications from scratch. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in early-stage tech startups, focusing on building highly scalable tech products. You will be instrumental in shaping our mobile presence.

Responsibilities

• Develop native Android/iOS and hybrid mobile applications.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, solution architects, engineering heads, UX/UI designers, fullstack developers, and testing teams to deliver high-quality products with minimal defects.
• Integrate with various APIs and data sources.
• Identify and resolve bugs efficiently.
• Continuously research and implement new technologies to enhance our cross-functional platform.
• Play a key role in developing multifaceted mobile applications.

Required Skillsets

• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with end-to-end development experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the Android SDK, various Android versions, and adaptive design for different screen sizes.
• Experience with RESTful APIs for backend integration.
• Strong understanding of Android/iOS/Hybrid/Flutter principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Familiarity with Android Studio.
• Ability to integrate with third-party application APIs.
• Experience with cloud messaging APIs, client engagement features, AI chatbots, and push notifications.
• Aptitude for performance benchmarking and optimization.
• Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Familiarity with continuous integration practices.

Experience Required

• A minimum of 2 to 10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably within an early-stage digital health startup.
• Demonstrated experience in developing mobile app products from inception in an early-stage startup environment, ideally as part of a founding team.
• Proven ability to independently manage end-to-end mobile app development for highly scalable Android/iOS/Hybrid/Flutter platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) from a reputable engineering institute.
