Benovymed Healthcare is seeking a highly experienced Senior App Developer and Mobile Architect Lead for its iOS and Android platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong coding and bug-fixing skills, with a proven track record of developing mobile applications from scratch within early-stage tech startups. We are looking for an individual passionate about building highly scalable tech products.

Responsibilities and Role

• Develop and code Android, iOS, and hybrid mobile applications.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Engineering Heads, UX/UI Designers, Fullstack Developers, and testing teams to deliver high-quality products with minimal bugs.
• Integrate with various APIs and data sources.
• Identify and resolve software defects (bug fixing).
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance the cross-functional platform.
• Play a key role in the development of multi-functional mobile applications.

Required Skillsets

• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java with strong end-to-end development experience.
• Deep understanding of the Android SDK, various Android versions, and adaptive UI for different screen sizes.
• Experience with RESTful APIs for connecting Android applications to backend services.
• Solid knowledge of Android, iOS, Hybrid, and Flutter principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with Android Studio.
• Ability to understand and integrate with third-party application APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs, client engagement strategies, AI chatbot integration, and push notification features.
• A talent for performance benchmarking and optimization.
• Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) practices.

Experience Required

• Minimum of 2 to 10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably within an early-stage growing startup, ideally in the Digital Health sector.
• Demonstrated experience in developing mobile app products from scratch in an early-stage startup environment, particularly as part of a founding team.
• Proven ability to lead and execute mobile app development end-to-end independently on highly scalable Android, iOS, Hybrid, or Flutter platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) from a reputable engineering institute.
