Benovymed Healthcare Private Limited in Chennai is seeking a highly experienced Senior App Developer / Mobile Architect Lead with expertise in both iOS and Android platforms. This role is ideal for a seasoned Android engineer with a strong coding foundation and a proven track record in bug fixing, mobile app development from inception, and building highly scalable tech products within early-stage tech startups.
Responsibilities and Role:
- Develop and code Android, iOS, and hybrid mobile applications.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Engineering Heads, UX/UI Designers, Fullstack Developers, and Testers to deliver high-quality, low-bug products.
- Integrate with various APIs and data sources.
- Perform bug fixing and issue resolution.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance the cross-functional platform.
- Play a key role as an Android developer in multi-functional mobile applications.
Required Skillsets:
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with end-to-end development experience.
- Deep understanding of the Android SDK, various Android versions, and adaptive design for different screen sizes.
- Experience with RESTful APIs for connecting Android applications to backend services.
- Strong grasp of Android, iOS, Hybrid, and Flutter principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Proficiency in Android Studio.
- Ability to integrate with third-party application APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs, client engagement strategies, AI chatbots, and push notification features.
- Aptitude for benchmarking and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines.
- Experience with continuous integration practices.
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 to 10 years of post-qualification experience in an early-stage, growing startup environment, preferably within the Digital Health sector.
- Demonstrated experience in developing mobile app products from scratch within an early-stage startup, ideally as part of a founding team.
- Proven ability to independently manage the end-to-end development of highly scalable Android, iOS, Hybrid, or Flutter mobile applications from their initial stages.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) from a reputable engineering institute.
