Senior Android Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Android Engineer to shape the future of payments on Grab. In this critical role, you will build high-quality, scalable mobile systems that power business flows used by millions across Southeast Asia. You will partner with product, design, backend, risk, and platform teams to create intuitive, fast, and secure payment experiences.

• Design, build, and maintain Android features powering Grab's core payment experience.
• Deliver high-quality, scalable, and resilient mobile solutions for critical user journeys across the region.
• Enhance app performance, reliability, observability, and engineering quality specifically within sensitive payment flows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product goals into robust technical solutions that serve millions of users.
• Contribute to architecture, technical design reviews, code governance, and team-wide engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues proactively and drive operational excellence in a high-traffic environment.
• Leverage data and experimentation (A/B testing) to improve customer experience and business outcomes for Grab's ecosystem partners and users.
