Senior Android Developer - Hyderabad
Nextclick is seeking an experienced Senior Android Developer with 10-12 years of hands-on experience to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana, specifically at Hi-Tech City, T-hub. This is a full-time, in-person role focused on building high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly mobile applications. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Android applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features.
Our ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in modern Android development practices, including clean architecture (MVVM, clean architecture), and has a proven track record of delivering exceptional mobile experiences. You will be responsible for ensuring the high performance, quality, and responsiveness of our applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through effective development and testing.
- Implement and advocate for clean, scalable architecture patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture.
- Integrate with backend services via RESTful APIs and manage third-party library integrations.
- Contribute to UI/UX improvements, leveraging modern tools like Jetpack Compose.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Maintain high code quality through adherence to best practices and effective use of version control systems.
- Participate in CI/CD processes to ensure smooth and efficient deployment pipelines.
Required Skills:
- Programming Languages & Tools: Java, Kotlin, Android Studio, MySQL.
- Mobile Development: Deep understanding of Android application development, UI/UX design principles, MVVM & Clean Architecture, Push Notifications.
- Frameworks & Technologies: RxJava, Firebase, Retrofit2, SQLite, Room Database, Realm.
- Version Control & CI/CD: Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitLab.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
Salary: Up to ₹100,000.00 per month.
