Full Job Description

Position Title: Senior Analyst – SOC

Location: Delhi, India

Key Responsibilities:

Continuously monitor security alerts and respond to incidents following established SOC run books.
Conduct incident investigations adhering to the Security Incident Management Process and guidelines.
Develop and implement containment strategies for data loss or breach events.
Triage and resolve advanced cyber threats, including botnets and Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs).
Perform in-depth investigations of escalated security alerts, gather evidence, and determine root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents.
Plan adversary eviction and incident response strategies.
Conduct malware analysis, staying updated on techniques and tools.
Provide forensic analysis inputs and assist in incident investigations.
Proactively collect and analyze threat data to identify global threats for clients.
Identify solution requirements and customize security use cases for specific environments.
Develop technical documentation (SOPs, run books) and train junior analysts on advanced threat analysis.
Contribute to threat hunting, profiling threat actors, and building custom analysis models using security event data.
Ensure seamless integration of security infrastructure and indicators with tools like QRadar, Seceon, ArcSight, and Splunk.
Develop and execute Threat Hunting services, coordinate with IT and security teams for remediation.
Handle customer interactions, on-site engagements, and align weekly/fortnightly reviews with clients and senior security managers.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and update knowledge documents.
Manage incident escalations, coordinate responses, and ensure remediation with customers.
Develop and implement L1/L2 incident response SOPs and train analysts on advanced threat analysis.
Analyze malware, network activity, disks, and memory in-depth.
Assist in log aggregation, parsing (syslog, HTTP, DB logs), and use log search tools with regex and natural language queries.
