Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Analyst - Master Data Management based in Chennai. This role is critical for supporting our teams building great products and driving corporate growth.

Daily Responsibilities

• Create and review efficient procedures for records including invoices, purchase orders, and documentation.
• Perform reporting and research activities for supplier score carding; keep systems updated to reflect current acceptance levels.
• Maintain information across various business systems for departments such as Warehouse, Planning, and Operations.
• Manage logistics records for inbound/outbound shipments and ensure accurate import compliance for international cargo.
• Implement record-keeping systems compliant with all customs regulations.
• Maintain the part number database by collecting up-to-date master data from internal sources and suppliers.
• Identify mismatches in collected part details to maintain accuracy.
• Prepare reports on excess/obsolete management, commodity risk positions, logistics performance, and key site requirements.
• Calculate cost savings & avoidance metrics for corporate reporting.
• Pull data from ERP systems, dashboards, or other relevant platforms.
• Provide recommendations to management based on deep data research.

Requirements

We prefer candidates with a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 1 year of experience. A background in manufacturing is highly desired.
