Senior Analyst Equity Research

Evalueserve is seeking a Senior Analyst for its Equity Research team, specializing in the Sell-Side Retail Luxury sector in Bengaluru. This role is within the Investment Research (IR) division, a global leader in knowledge processes, research, and analytics, partnering with top-rated investment research organizations, bulge bracket investment banks, and leading asset managers. The team supports 8 of the top 10 global banks on deal origination, execution, valuation, and transaction advisory projects.

Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and update equity research models.
• Support analysts in writing quarterly earnings reviews/previews, company updates, theme-based and event-based reports, and periodical reports.
• Create and maintain company- and industry-specific databases.
• Develop and update company and sector-specific presentations for marketing and roadshow activities.
• Collect financial data using online sources and platforms such as Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters.
• Handle ad hoc research requests and client queries.
• Benchmark companies using financial and operating statistics.
• Gather information from industry or sector databases.
• Summarize investment conference calls.

Qualifications:

• CA / MBA / CFA with 2+ years of experience in equity research (sell-side).
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Ability to structure and write sections of reports, effectively framing and articulating views.
• Good communication skills, enabling clear and confident expression of thoughts.
• Proven ability to multitask and manage the entire workflow.
• Capability to generate insightful observations and ideas from news, events, and data.
• Critical focus on maintaining accuracy and consistency.
• Self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
