Position Summary

As an Inizio Ignite Senior Analyst, you will be a vital member of client engagement teams. Your responsibilities will include leading sophisticated analytics workstreams and developing high-impact analytical deliverables. You will leverage advanced analytical, coding, and modeling skills to address complex business challenges for life sciences clients, while also contributing to methodological best practices within the data analytics team.

A substantial focus of this role will be on commercial analytics and business intelligence. This includes marketing and sales analytics, real-world data analysis (such as claims and EHR data), and the creation and delivery of dashboards and data visualizations designed to support strategic and operational decision-making.

In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with case team leadership to design and implement analytics approaches, transform ambiguous business questions into well-defined analytical plans, and clearly communicate insights to both internal stakeholders and clients.

• Proven analytical experience and problem-solving capabilities, ideally supported by a Master's degree in a quantitative science field such as engineering, computer/data science, statistics, or mathematics.
• For the Senior Analyst role, we require a Master's degree with 1-2 years of relevant work experience, or a PhD.
• Demonstrated expertise in processing and analyzing large datasets using SQL and programming languages like Python, R, or SAS. Strong Excel skills, including experience with Power Query and VBA, are a plus, particularly in applying these to commercial analytics use cases such as marketing performance, sales effectiveness, patient journeys, and market dynamics.
• A solid understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques, including hypothesis testing, supervised and unsupervised learning, and model evaluation.
• Experience working with cloud-based data and analytics platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Snowflake.
• Proficiency in business intelligence, dashboarding, and data visualization using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense, with the ability to translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights.
• Experience working with real-world healthcare and life sciences datasets (e.g., claims, EHR, lab, provider, Rx, and payer data from sources like Komodo, IQVIA, Symphony, Truven, Optum, Flatiron), especially in commercial and market-facing analytics. Familiarity with omnichannel commercial analytics (e.g., HCP engagement, marketing mix, channel performance) is advantageous.
• The ability to independently structure analyses, manage multiple priorities effectively, and deliver high-quality work within demanding timelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to explain complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience working collaboratively within hybrid teams across different geographies, demonstrating strong adaptability and comfort operating in a global consulting setting.
