Full Job Description
The Global Servicing Decision Science (GSDS) team serves as the centralized Decision Science Center of Excellence at American Express TRS. As a Senior Analyst in Data Science specializing in Machine Learning, LLMs, and GenAI, you will build production-ready capabilities that transform servicing experiences through advanced analytics.

- Develop predictive models, recommendation systems, and decisioning approaches using Python, SQL, tree-based models, regression/classification techniques.
- Build and evaluate GenAI solutions, including Agentic AI workflows, transformer-based architectures, LLM applications, and Conversational AI tools.
- Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured datasets to engineer features, test hypotheses, and drive operational improvements via experimentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Product, Technology, and Operations to productionize models and translate technical findings into actionable business impact.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative fields.
- 2+ years of professional experience in Data Science and Machine Learning (preferred 2-4 years).
- Demonstrated proficiency with Python/SQL and exposure to modern AI techniques like embeddings, semantic modeling, and next-best-action systems.
