About the Role
Everest Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join their Engineering & IT (EIT) practice. This role is pivotal in researching and advising on the dynamic landscape of cybersecurity services, technologies, and market trends. You will analyze how enterprises and service providers are adapting to evolving security challenges across IT, cloud, digital, and engineering environments.
As a Senior Analyst, you will significantly contribute to published research and custom advisory engagements, delivering data-driven insights into cybersecurity market dynamics, service provider capabilities, and solution offerings. This position requires a proactive approach to tracking emerging cybersecurity themes, supporting critical client decision-making, and engaging with senior stakeholders through insightful, research-backed discussions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop compelling research topics that align with current cybersecurity market evolution and client priorities.
- Structure analytical frameworks and effectively manage workstreams to produce high-quality research outputs within established timelines.
- Make substantial contributions to the published research agenda for cybersecurity within the EIT practice.
- Lead defined modules or medium-sized custom research and advisory engagements specifically focused on cybersecurity services and solutions.
- Cultivate and deepen domain expertise across a broad range of cybersecurity technologies, services, and delivery models, leveraging both internal subject matter experts and external resources.
- Support business development activities, including proposal development, solution positioning, and client discussions.
- Proactively engage with external stakeholders through analyst interactions, executive conversations, and ongoing client relationship management.

Education and Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Research, advisory, or consulting roles with a focus on cybersecurity, IT services, or digital technologies.
- Global sourcing or strategy teams within consulting firms or service providers, with demonstrated exposure to cybersecurity services.
- A solid understanding of core cybersecurity concepts, including managed security services, cloud security, identity and access management, application security, infrastructure security, data protection, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
- Familiarity with enterprise IT environments and their security implications across cloud, digital, and engineering platforms.
- Ability to comprehend market trends in outsourcing, managed services, shared services, and offshoring, particularly as they relate to cybersecurity.
- A Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA is preferred.
- 1 to 4 years of post-MBA experience in technology, advisory, research, or outsourcing strategy roles.
- A strong interest in cybersecurity, digital risk, and technology services.
- Prior experience in technology or cybersecurity-focused roles is considered a plus.
- Exposure to deal solutioning, RFP responses, or service provider evaluations in cybersecurity or IT services is an advantage.
