Senior AI/ML Engineer

About This Role

We are seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to join our engineering organization in Hyderabad, Telangana. In this hands-on technical leadership position, you will help build and modernize large-scale enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and modern full-stack technologies.

Your Impact:

• Technical Leadership & Engineering: Design and deliver complex solutions using microservices, APIs, and distributed systems. Mentor engineers to elevate team capabilities.
• AWS Cloud Architecture: Build scalable applications on AWS, supporting the modernization of legacy environments to cloud-native architectures with a focus on security and observability.
• AI-Driven Innovation: Leverage Generative AI tools like GitHub Copilot and explore use cases involving LLMs and RAG to enhance engineering productivity while maintaining high standards for quality and governance.

Who You Are

You possess advanced hands-on experience in Java/Spring Boot, have a deep understanding of distributed systems and enterprise architecture, and are skilled in CI/CD practices. Your ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs makes you an ideal fit for this role at Optum.
