Senior AI Engineer

Are you passionate about building scalable, intelligent AI models and agents to transform finance business processes? We are seeking an AI Engineer in Pune, Maharashtra, India, to design and implement AI capabilities for Finance, including predictive models for anomaly detection, clustering, classification, variance analysis, and forecasting. You will develop assistants and agents for contextual commentary generation, driver analysis, and other actionable workflows. This role involves building production-grade, scalable AI solutions within a multi-agentic architecture, collaborating with a global team of AI scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders. You will take ownership of end-to-end delivery in a collaborative, agile environment, translating complex business requirements into intelligent solutions. You will be part of the Agentic AI Crew within the Data & AI Stream, playing a key role in the implementation of ampliFi, an AI-first modernized platform and ledger infrastructure for Finance.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AI capabilities (models, assistants, and agents) for Finance.
• Develop predictive models for anomaly detection, clustering, classification, variance analysis, and forecasting.
• Build assistants and agents for contextual commentary generation, driver analysis, and actional workflows.
• Create production-grade, scalable AI solutions in a multi-agentic architecture.
• Collaborate with a global team of AI scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Take ownership of end-to-end delivery in a collaborative and agile environment.
• Translate complex business requirements into intelligent solutions.
• Work as part of an agile development team within a global technology team.

Required Expertise:

• Proven hands-on experience in AI/ML model and agent development and deployment.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming for AI and data workflows.
• Proficiency with Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI.
• Experience with AI Ops, MLOps, and production-grade pipeline design for AI solutions.
• Knowledge of libraries such as OpenAI, Langchain, LangGraph, H2O, Scikit-learn, Keras/TensorFlow.
• Experience with cloud engineering for AI, preferably Azure AI Foundry and Cognitive Services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative mindset.
• Ability to embed AI into business processes and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Curiosity to learn new technologies and practices, evaluate options, and make sustainable decisions.
• Strong communication skills, including presentations and technical writing.
• Self-starter with meticulous attention to detail and a growth mindset.

Knowledge of SQL, Spark, and Databricks ML for data processing and analytics is a plus.
