Senior AI Engineer

Centre for Computational Technologies (CCTech) is seeking a motivated Senior AI Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join their Pune, India team. This permanent, full-time role involves designing, developing, and deploying sophisticated AI/ML models and intelligent systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in statistics and machine learning, coupled with practical experience in building end-to-end ML pipelines, including data preprocessing, training, evaluation, and deployment. A key requirement is hands-on experience with developing and deploying AI agents and Agentic AI systems, utilizing frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph. Responsibilities include implementing LLM-powered applications, working with multi-agent systems for automation and workflow orchestration, and integrating these solutions into production environments via scalable architectures and APIs. The role also involves monitoring, evaluating, and continuously improving model and agent performance, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams and staying abreast of the latest advancements in AI, ML, and Generative AI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems.
• Apply statistical methods to analyze data and improve model accuracy and reliability.
• Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines (data preprocessing, training, evaluation, deployment).
• Develop and deploy AI agents and Agentic AI systems for automation and intelligent decision-making.
• Implement LLM-powered applications using frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph.
• Work on multi-agent systems, orchestration, and workflow automation.
• Integrate models and agents into production systems via APIs and scalable architectures.
• Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve model and agent performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-driven solutions.
• Stay updated with advancements in AI, ML, and Generative AI.

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML roles.
• Strong understanding of statistics (probability, distributions, hypothesis testing, etc.).
• Solid expertise in machine learning algorithms and real-world implementation.
• Strong theoretical and practical experience with LangChain and LangGraph.
• Hands-on experience in building, deploying, and managing AI agents / Agentic AI systems.
• Good understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and orchestration frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience with REST APIs, model deployment, and scalable systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with multi-agent architectures and tool usage (tools, memory, planning).
• Knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone).
• Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices (CI/CD, monitoring, versioning).
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
