Senior AI Engineer

About This Role

The Senior AI Engineer, GenAI and MLOps role is designed for an expert who can take ownership of a system end-to-end. India faces a significant shortage of qualified AI engineers; this position targets those with strong foundations in machine learning, LLMs (Large Language Models), data engineering, and cloud platforms to solve real-world enterprise problems.

What You Will Own:

• Design & Deployment: Build and deploy ML/GenAI models including RAG pipelines, embeddings, transformers, and LLMs.
• Scalable Services: Develop microservices using Python and cloud-native technologies optimized for performance and cost efficiency.
• Data Engineering: Work with structured/unstructured data for feature engineering, vectorisation, training, validation, and inference pipelines.
• MLOps & Governance: Implement CI/CD for models, monitor drift/performance, manage lifecycle logging, and ensure enterprise security/compliance.
• RAG Architectures: Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation systems using vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate) aligned with ethical standards.
• Collaboration: Partner with domain experts to translate business requirements into technical solutions and lead POCs/demos.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Experience: 5-8 years in industry, with production-level LLM experience (not just pilots).
• Tech Stack: Python (PyTorch/TensorFlow), Azure/AWS/GCP, Docker/Kubernetes.
• MLOps Tools: MLflow, Kubeflow, Databricks, SageMaker.
