Senior Advisory Software Engineer

As an Advisory Software Engineer – Java, you will design, develop, and mentor on cloud-based offerings for small to medium-sized customers. You will lead development of scalable web solutions in an agile setting using Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA (MySQL/SQL Server), AWS services (ECS/EKS/RDS/Lambda/S3/etc.), Docker, and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop modular, extensible, testable Java backend services and RESTful/SOAP microservices with Spring Security/OAuth2/JWT.
• Create clean code with comprehensive unit/integration tests (JUnit/Mockito).
• Build data access layers using Hibernate/JPA on MySQL/SQL Server; optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, schemas, indexing strategies, and DB performance tuning.
• Manage containerized deployments via Docker/Kubernetes/ECS; perform advanced troubleshooting across JVM/app server/database/cloud stacks.
• Maintain 24/7 on-call readiness for scheduled rotations including weekends/holidays; provide application support with SLA adherence.

You will collaborate cross-functionally (architects, PMs, QA) in Scrum/Kanban environments to deliver end-to-end solutions and drive continuous delivery practices.
