Senior Accountant

Baker Tilly Canada, a leading advisory and accounting firm in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, is seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to join their dynamic Private Enterprise team. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality work, mentor aspiring accountants, and contribute significantly to the success of private enterprise clients. Key responsibilities include managing a diverse range of Review, Compilation, and White Paper engagements, preparing various tax returns (T1, T2, T3, T4, T5), and assisting with financial statements under ASPE. The ideal candidate will analyze financial information, identify areas for improvement, and maintain proactive client communication to foster strong working relationships. This position also involves identifying value-added opportunities, such as tax planning insights and process enhancements, and actively supporting junior staff through coaching and training, contributing to a positive and collaborative firm culture in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
