Security Research Intern

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Security Research Intern to lead critical security research initiatives focused on identifying threats, vulnerabilities, and developing effective detection and mitigation strategies within our cloud services ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze emerging threat trends and anomalies to assess operational impact and define potential vectors for attack along with corresponding mitigation strategies.
• Process and synthesize threat intelligence from diverse internal and external sources, delivering discrete data aligned with specific requirements or customer needs.
• Identify security defects, vulnerabilities, and gaps in existing guidance documents.
• Contribute to technical implementations by coding solutions for signature detection, malware analysis, threat investigation, and reverse engineering projects; leverage research findings to inform architecture and product direction.
• Collaborate across teams to manage dependencies, ensure timely integration of deliverables, and maintain clear communication on project status against schedules.
• Implement protective measures for security tools, techniques, data, and intellectual property; respond promptly to incidents affecting systems or products as necessary; utilize penetration testing results to enhance product resilience.
