Security Operations Center Analyst

Join Covenant HR as a Level 2 MDR Analyst (2 Openings) in a fully remote role based in India. Work in a dynamic environment as part of a leading managed cybersecurity services provider, investigating and triaging security alerts to detect, analyze, and respond to advanced cyber threats. Your responsibilities include:

• Investigating and triaging security alerts to assess severity, impact, and appropriate response actions.
• Correlating data from multiple security tools, endpoint telemetry, and system logs to identify malicious activity.
• Differentiating legitimate threats from false positives using evidence-based decision-making.
• Documenting findings, evidence, and recommendations clearly and concisely.
• Communicating security incidents and findings to internal stakeholders in plain language.
• Escalating confirmed threats according to established incident response procedures.
• Collaborating with the security team to improve detection quality and investigation processes.
• Monitoring security events independently while maintaining high accuracy and quality.

This is a 12-month contract position with flexible shift options: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM EST or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, supporting 24/7 MDR operations. Must-have skills include strong security alert investigation methodology, experience analyzing security data, and excellent communication skills.
