AFRY in Pune, Maharashtra, India, is looking for a skilled and experienced Security Engineer to join our team. This hybrid role (3 days in office) involves ensuring the security of our systems and networks, implementing robust security measures, and efficiently responding to security incidents. Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining security for computer systems, networks, and information; monitoring and analyzing security events to identify threats; conducting regular security assessments and audits for compliance; collaborating with teams to develop security policies; and providing employee security training.
We require 4 to 8 years of relevant experience, strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java, and hands-on experience with GCP Cloud and GitHub Actions (CI/CD). A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is essential. Candidates should possess proven experience as a Security Engineer, a strong understanding of security protocols, cryptography, and technologies, and familiarity with security tools like firewalls and intrusion detection systems. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are a must. Knowledge of the NIST security framework is advantageous. Preferred qualifications include certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH, experience with cloud security and DevSecOps, and a strong grasp of network protocols and security architecture.
