Join JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Security Engineer II in Hyderabad/Secunderabad, Telangana, and be at the forefront of delivering secure software solutions. You will be an integral part of a high-performing agile team dedicated to preventing misuse, circumvention, and malicious behavior.
In this role, you will execute standard security solutions based on existing playbooks, ensuring security requirements are met for internal clients. You will write secure, high-quality code with limited guidance, utilizing your expertise in Java/J2EE and React JS, along with relational databases. The position involves using specialized tools like vulnerability scanners to analyze incident data, identify threats, and summarize their probability and impact. You will also support continuity-related awareness, training, and educational activities.
Required qualifications include formal training or certification in security engineering concepts with 2+ years of applied experience, proficiency in Java/J2EE and React JS with relational databases, and basic experience in developing security engineering solutions. You should have demonstrable coding ability in at least one language, experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle, and exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security. A working knowledge of information and network security, IT risk management, and architectural concepts is essential, along with proficiency in specialized tools for incident data analysis.
Preferred qualifications include working experience with MongoDB and Camunda 7/8 Workflow.
