Security Engineer - VAPT in Delhi, India

Key Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) across clients' IT infrastructure, applications, and networks.
• Conduct comprehensive security assessments utilizing industry-standard tools and methodologies such as Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, Burp Suite, and OWASP.
• Identify and exploit security vulnerabilities to evaluate their potential impact on clients' systems and data.
• Produce detailed assessment reports that include findings, risk assessments, and actionable remediation recommendations.
• Partner with clients' IT teams to effectively prioritize and resolve identified security issues in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement custom scripts or tools to enhance testing capabilities and automate routine tasks.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to continuously refine testing methodologies.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security engineers, promoting a collaborative environment for knowledge sharing and skill development.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of dedicated experience in cybersecurity, with a strong emphasis on Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing.
• Proficiency in utilizing security assessment tools including Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, Burp Suite, and OWASP.
• Hands-on experience with various operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Unix.
• A solid understanding of network protocols, web application architecture, and prevalent security vulnerabilities.
• Possession of certifications like Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), or equivalent is preferred.
• Exceptional analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling clear articulation of technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• A demonstrated history of delivering high-quality security assessments and providing practical, actionable recommendations.
