Security Engineer

Role Overview

DeleteMe is looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. In this role, you will be responsible for fortifying our security posture by managing endpoint security, SIEM platforms, and cloud infrastructure. You will play a vital role in our compliance efforts, incident response, and internal IT support, contributing to a culture of privacy and security in a fast-growing global SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and optimize CrowdStrike (Falcon and LogScale) deployments.
• Configure SIEM integrations, alerting, and security metrics for SOC operations.
• Manage security services across AWS and GCP, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Maintain strict adherence to security frameworks including SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001:2022, and CIS benchmarks.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response planning.
• Provide on-site technical support for hardware, access management, and internal IT triaging.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate security-by-design into product development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in CrowdStrike security solutions and modern SIEM platforms.
• Hands-on experience managing security in AWS and GCP environments.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Identity Access Management (Okta, SSO, SCIM).
• Operational knowledge of Jira, Slack, and PagerDuty automation.
• Understanding of compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and CIS.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot IT infrastructure and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Excellent project management, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Security; CISSP certification is considered a strong asset.
