Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the monitoring and analysis of security alerts and incidents, providing support under supervision.
• Perform foundational vulnerability assessments and penetration tests (VAPT), reporting findings to the security team.
• Gain familiarity and practical experience with VAPT tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, nmap, and Metasploit.
• Conduct research to stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Document incident response procedures and other key processes to maintain best practices.
• Support the deployment and ongoing maintenance of security tools and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in Information Security.
• Completion of relevant coursework or professional certifications (e.g., CEH, OSCP, CRTP, CompTIA Security+).
• Proficiency with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT) tools.
• Basic experience in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation tasks.
• Knowledge of security considerations for AI/ML, including model vulnerabilities and data privacy for Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Prior experience or active participation in bug bounty programs or Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions.
