Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents, providing supervised response.
• Perform basic vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT), documenting findings for the security team.
• Utilize VAPT tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, nmap, and Metasploit.
• Research and stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support security audits and compliance efforts.
• Document incident response procedures and other vital processes to uphold best practices.
• Assist in the deployment and maintenance of security tools and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A foundational understanding of Information Security principles.
• Relevant academic coursework or certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CEH, OSCP, CRTP, CompTIA Security+).
• Familiarity with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT) tools.
• Basic proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation.
• Knowledge of security considerations for AI/ML, including LLM vulnerabilities and data privacy.
• Prior experience or active participation in bug bounty programs or Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions.
