Security Consultant

About the Role

As a Security Consultant, you will empower organizations to build, enhance, and secure their cloud environments. This involves implementing industry-leading best practices, adopting modern security architectures, and employing risk-based strategies. You will provide essential technical leadership across security strategy, architecture, and implementation, driving secure digital transformation initiatives for clients in Gurugram and Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of security consulting engagements, from initial discovery to final delivery, including detailed requirements analysis, prioritization, and implementation guidance.
• Design, build, and transform enterprise cybersecurity programs, ensuring alignment with organizational risk profiles and desired security maturity levels.
• Provide expert advice on security best practices for cloud adoption, digital transformation, and modern architectural paradigms such as containers, microservices, and zero trust networks.
• Conduct comprehensive security assessments, architecture reviews, and maturity evaluations across infrastructure, applications, and identity management systems.
• Identify critical security risks and gaps, delivering clear findings, actionable recommendations, and effective remediation strategies.
• Offer technical guidance on crucial security areas including identity and access management, authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure system design principles.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated experience in information security or IT risk management, encompassing security, performance, and reliability considerations.
• Hands-on expertise with security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization mechanisms, and secure system design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification.
• Industry-recognized security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC (e.g., GCIH).
• Proven experience with cloud computing concepts and the application of security controls in cloud-based environments.
• A strong understanding of infrastructure, operating system, and application vulnerabilities, alongside security architectures and relevant controls.
