Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Architect to define and implement cloud security frameworks and architectures that align with business requirements and performance objectives. This role involves documenting the deployment of cloud security controls and overseeing the transition to cloud security-managed operations. The ideal candidate will possess proven experience with enterprise-grade security technologies including Palo Alto firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Virtual Private Networks (VPN), Web Application Firewalls (WAF) such as Imperva, Cequence Bot Defense, Cloudflare DNS security, and Illumio Zero Trust microsegmentation. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network security controls to safeguard enterprise infrastructure, applications, and data against advanced cyber threats. Key tasks involve configuring and maintaining Palo Alto Networks firewalls (threat prevention, URL filtering, App-ID), managing IDS/IPS, configuring VPN solutions (GlobalProtect, IPsec/SSL), analyzing security logs for incident investigations, and automating firewall rules and network segmentation. The role also requires deploying and managing Cequence Bot Defense for API security, configuring Cloudflare DNS security services for threat blocking and DoS mitigation, and implementing Illumio Zero Trust Segmentation for workload isolation. Additionally, experience with Imperva WAF for protecting web applications from OWASP Top 10 threats and tuning WAF rules is essential. Collaboration with DevOps and application teams for security integration is also expected. Must-have skills include proficiency in Palo Alto Networks Firewalls, strong understanding of cloud security principles, network security protocols, security compliance frameworks, and incident analysis. Experience in cybersecurity operations, managing enterprise firewalls, Bot protection, DNS security, and troubleshooting complex network issues is required. The role demands experience in global delivery models and cross-functional team collaboration.
