Security Analyst Opportunity in Thiruvananthapuram

Zafin Software Centre of Excellence is seeking a full-time Security Analyst with 3-5 years of experience to join our team in Thiruvananthapuram. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our cybersecurity initiatives and grow within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support vulnerability management, security operations, and security governance.
• Assist in developing and delivering security awareness training programs.
• Maintain security documentation, trackers, and coordinate with various stakeholders.
• Contribute to risk management processes and cybersecurity principle implementation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related Engineering field.
• Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles, vulnerabilities, and risk management.
• Basic understanding of penetration testing and vulnerability management concepts.
• Familiarity with security awareness and training practices.
• A learner's attitude is highly valued.

Experience Requirements:

• Approximately 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, IT risk, or a closely related field.
• Experience in supporting vulnerability management, security operations, security governance, or awareness initiatives is preferred.
• Proven experience in maintaining trackers, documentation, and coordinating with stakeholders.

Preferred Certifications & Exposure:

• CompTIA Security+
• SC-900 or equivalent Microsoft security fundamentals certification
• AZ-900 Azure/ Microsoft 365
• Exposure to Azure and Microsoft 365 environments is a plus.
