Security Analyst

About the Role: Security Analyst - Governance, Assurance & Risk

This role involves supporting crucial security governance, assurance, and risk management activities at Experian India, located in Hyderabad, Telangana. You will play a key part in ensuring our security posture remains robust and compliant.

• Security Governance, Assurance & Risk Support:
• Assist in monitoring adherence to established security policies, standards, and control frameworks.
• Contribute to security risk assessments for projects, platforms, and services, meticulously documenting risks and recommending appropriate treatments.
• Support internal and external audits (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS) by collecting evidence, testing controls, and tracking remediation efforts.
• Aid in access reviews to maintain appropriate user access and segregation of duties.
• Support the design, implementation, and operational effectiveness testing of security and IT controls.
• Security Metrics & Compliance Monitoring:
• Monitor security metrics, dashboards, and control performance indicators under the guidance of senior team members.
• Identify and record instances of non-compliance and control deviations against defined security standards, policies, and SLAs.
• Perform initial analysis of trends and recurring issues, escalating as necessary.
• Non-Compliance Tracking & Remediation Support:
• Log and track security non-conformities, findings, and control gaps.
• Collaborate with application owners and platform teams to support agreed remediation actions.
• Track remediation progress and update records and dashboards.
• Escalate overdue or higher-risk items in line with defined processes.
• Reporting & Stakeholder Support:
• Assist in preparing security reports, dashboards, and metrics summaries.
• Engage with Privacy, Risk Management, Internal Audit, and Technology teams to identify new risks and compliance gaps.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at maturing security processes, metrics, and reporting.

You will report to a Senior Manager and will be expected to work from the office 2 days a week (Hybrid Working Model).
