About the Information Security Analyst Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Information Security Analyst to join our team in Chennai, India. This role is crucial for protecting our organization's digital assets and ensuring adherence to security policies and standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles, risk management, and incident response, coupled with an ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor networks and systems for security breaches, threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, providing detailed analysis and remediation plans.
- Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration tests.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure secure system configurations and data protection.
- Stay current with emerging security trends, threats, and technologies.
- Perform risk assessments and support audits, including SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory changes.

Requirements for this Position
- 2-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
- Solid understanding of network security, application security, and cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency with security tools such as Splunk, Nessus, Burp Suite, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks including NIST, ISO, GDPR, and SOC 2.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Engineering, or a related technical field.
