Security Analyst - Active Directory Specialist

IBM is seeking a skilled Security Analyst with a focus on Active Directory (AD) services to join our team in Mumbai. This role involves the administration, support, and enhancement of our critical identity and access management infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS):
• Administer and support AD DS, including user, group, OU, and computer objects.
• Manage domain controller upgrades, patching, and lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot domain controller replication, authentication, and DNS issues.
• Design and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for security and operational requirements.
• Perform LDAP and LDAPS troubleshooting.
• DNS Services:
• Administer and troubleshoot DNS services in Windows environments.
• Manage forwarders, conditional forwarders, and name resolution.
• Azure Identity Management (Entra ID):
• Administer Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).
• Manage Azure AD Connect for synchronization, troubleshooting, upgrades, and monitoring.
• Handle Azure application creation, registration, and integration.
• Implement and support Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect) for enterprise applications.
• Security Compliance:
• Conduct Vulnerability Assessment (VA) remediation and closure for AD, DNS, and identity services.
• Implement identity security best practices and hardening standards.
• Support audits, compliance checks, and security reviews.
• Operations Support:
• Manage incident, problem, and change management activities.
• Perform root cause analysis and documentation for critical identity-related issues.
• Collaborate effectively with application, security, and infrastructure teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Proven experience configuring Domain Controllers, creating Domains and Forests.
• Experience managing users, groups, and assigning rights/permissions.
• Experience with Domain Controller upgrades (e.g., Windows Server 2003 to 2022).
• Experience with migration from FRS to DFSR.
• Experience with FSMO role transfer.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
