Arcesium is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a focus on AI to join our Test Engineering team in Bangalore or Hyderabad. This pivotal role ensures the quality of our software solutions that power the entire investment lifecycle. You will leverage cutting-edge technologies and AI-driven approaches to guarantee correctness, completeness, security, and reliability, ultimately driving transformational business outcomes for our clients.

As an SDET, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, tools, and scripts for complex financial applications. You'll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment. Your responsibilities will include analyzing test results, reporting defects with clarity, and ensuring their reproducibility.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with strong fundamentals in OOP, data structures, databases, and algorithms for test automation. A deep understanding of SDLC, QA lifecycle, and various testing methodologies (API, frontend, backend) is essential. Proficiency with Linux/Unix systems, Jenkins, and Git, along with experience in test management tools like JIRA or TestRail, is required. Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills are a must. Familiarity with AI-driven testing tools such as Testim, Mabl, or LLM-based test generation is also expected.

We'd be particularly interested if you have experience with performance and load testing (JMeter, Locust), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and cloud-native application testing. Hands-on experience with AI/ML libraries (Scikit-learn, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, LangChain) for test case generation, anomaly detection, or test data automation is a significant advantage. Exposure to Generative AI (GenAI) in software testing is also a plus.
