Nykaa is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) 2 to join our Quality Engineering team. This role requires extensive experience in API automation using Rest Assured and UI automation with Selenium and Java. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and developing scalable test strategies within a dynamic product development environment. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to guarantee high-quality product releases and comprehensive automation coverage for microservices and web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for both web and API testing.
• Create and execute automated test suites using Selenium with Java for user interface testing.
• Develop and manage API automation scripts utilizing Rest Assured.
• Conduct thorough functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Identify and address test gaps, enhancing automation coverage across various services.
• Engage in code reviews and contribute to advancing overall engineering quality practices.
• Debug and pinpoint defects, working collaboratively with development teams for timely resolution.
• Ensure the stability, reliability, and maintainability of all automation scripts.
